Terms and Conditions

Welcome to My Pressure Story, a digital product developed by The Growth Hunting Company ("we", "our", or "us").

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the My Pressure Story and website (collectively, the "Platform"). 

By accessing or using My Pressure Story, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform. 

1. Use of the Platform 

1.1. License to Use 
We grant facilitators who purchase a group license to use My Pressure Story the ability to grant access to a set number of individuals to complete My Pressure Story, in accordance with the number of “seats” that have been paid for.

Each user may complete My Pressure Story once.

You cannot resell, gift or in any way transfer your seats purchased with a group license.

1.2. User Responsibilities
You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited under this clause. You agree not to: 

  • Violate any laws or regulations including: 

    • Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) 

    • Trade Marks Act 1995 (Cth) 

    • Patents Act 1990 (Cth) 

    • Designs Act 2003 (Cth) 

  •  Infringe on our intellectual property rights or the rights of others. 

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's integrity or performance. 

1.3 Facilitator Responsibilities

The group version of My Pressure Story is aimed to help individuals grow and feed data back to facilitators to enhance that growth collectively.

My Pressure Story should not be used for purposes of selection, discrimination or any other purpose that might reasonably be considered unethical.

2. Privacy Policy 

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. 

2.1. Information We Collect (from group member/students completing My Pressure Story)

  • Personal Information: We ask for group members’ Age range, Gender, Country, State and Postcode, and selected responses to reflection tools. We don’t ask for any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that could link their completion of My Pressure Story to their person.  

  • Usage Data: App interaction data.

  • Cookies and Tracking: We may use cookies to enhance user experience. 

2.2 Information We Collect (from facilitators)

  • Personal Information: We collect your email and name via Google Authentication

  • Institution Information: We ask for your group name, and organisation name.

2.2. How We Use Your Data 

  • To provide and improve the Platform. 

  • To personalise your user experience. 

  • For analytics and research purposes. 
     

2.3. Data Sharing  

The data your group members submit may be aggregated and used for research purposes to help us understand how to help people deal with pressure.

The data you and your group members submit will not be sold, rented or leased to third parties. 

2.4. Data Retention 

Your group members’ responses to the selection-based questions in My Pressure Story will be retained indefinitely. 

Your group members’ responses to the written based questions in My Pressure Story will not be retained.

3. Data Collection Disclaimer 

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that: 

  • Your group members’ input into reflection tools may be stored and analysed for educational and developmental purposes. 

  • Aggregated, anonymised data may be used for research, product development, or shared in reports to stakeholders (e.g., schools, mental health professionals) without identifying you or your group members personally. 
     

4. Intellectual Property Protection 

4.1. Ownership 
All content, features, functionality, and design elements within My Pressure Story—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, tools, questionnaires, and software—are the exclusive property of The Growth Hunting Company and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. 

4.2. Restrictions 
You may not: 

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works from the Platform or any part thereof. 

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software. 

  • Use our content (written or visual) for commercial purposes without express written consent. 

4.3. Trademarks 
All trademarks, service marks, and logos used in connection with the Platform are trademarks of The Growth Hunting Company. You may not use them without prior written approval. 

5. Termination 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms or used the Platform inappropriately. 

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability 

  • The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. 

  • We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. 

  • In no event will The Growth Hunting Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Platform. 

  • The strategies provided by My Pressure Story are not a substitute for professional psychological advice. Please advise your group members to seek medical assistance where required.

7. Governing Law 

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. 

8. Changes to Terms 

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
